About Us
Selkirk Challengers Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving the Castlegar area for 20 years. Our club offers recreational programs including artistic gymnastics and Parkour, as well as competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics. Every year, over 200 athletes of all ages join us to experience the fun, fitness and fundamentals of gymnastics!
Programs:
SCGC offers several recreational programs for toddlers, preschool children, elementary,middle school, and high school students.
SCGC offers progressive pre-competitive and competitive programs, designed to prepare athletes with strong gymnastics abilities and passion for the sport for Invitational and Provincial level competition. Athletes start in our pre-competitive classes around age 4, and can transition into the competitive program beginning at age 6.
Coaches
Our coaches are committed to providing the skills, knowledge, support and encouragement required to help our gymnasts reach their full potential, and strive to provide an environment where every athlete feels accepted, valued, and respected.
Head Coach: Rhonda Saunders
Rhonda is NCCP Level 2 Certified, and has over 20 years experience coaching both recreational and competitive gymnasts.

Board of Directors
The Selkirk Challengers Gymnastics Club operates under the leadership of a Board of Directors. This Board is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers that work tirelessly to ensure the continued success of our Club. Our Annual General Meeting is held each year in the fall, and all members are encouraged to attend.
